1s got 2017 off to a great start with a 4-3 win at Bank of England in a tense close game. 4-1 up at half time but held on against a very determined BOE side. Goals from Vanny,Jonny,Tills, Clappers). 2s drew 2-2 with South Bank.(Tim Benham MOM) 3s lost 6-3 at Nottsborough and 5s lost 9-2 to Poly 9s But in the big one the 6s edged out the 7s 2-1 in a close encounter.

Darren Fitzgerald and Dan Rist at the Wandle for Ryan Gresty’s birthday – both scored their first goals for Merton today. Dan’s was a screamer from the halfway line, Darren’s a clinical finish in the bottom corner. Well done lads!!
