30th April 2022 - 1s No Game; 2s 3 - 2 Actonians; 3s No Game; 5s Season Complete; 6s 2 -2 South Bank Cuaco 10s; Vets - Season Complete

A clean sweep of results for the youth section this weekend. The U10s and u11s winning their respective games, playing some great football in the process. U14s winning 4-0 to end a successful first weekend of the season. It was great to see the yellow of Merton back in action this weekend. Well done to all the boys.

A fantastic Result from the Worcester Park U11s tournament with Merton’s top team coming out on top beating some quality teams in the process. Great work from the boys and the managers. A great start to the season with the league starting next Sunday.

Youth Results. A mixed bag of results today. U10s with a resounding 8-0 win against Woking Cougars. U13s losing 2-1 Twickenham Tigers in a close battle and U14s losing 4-2 to Redhill Youth at Joseph Hood. Well done to all !!!

Not the greatest of days for the youth section today.
U10s losing 3-0 in a good battle. U13s losing 1-0 in a tight game at the hood which could have gone either way, and U14s losing 7-1 away from home. Fingers crossed for a better week next weekend! 2 home games at the Hood!

Youth results – 23.09.18
The rain continued for the youth teams, 1 win and 2 defeats .
Under 10s continue with winning ways beating Rocks lane at home 7 – 0. Faris getting a hat trick, Dave, Maxwell, Joe and Rio getting on the score sheet as well.
Under 13s lost 1 – 2 at home to Croygas Falcons.
Under 14s, with only 10 men gave it a good go but lost heavily 1 – 11, away to Whyteleafe wanderers.

The weekend is rescued by the Youth section who have a very different experience at the Hood today. A very good morning for the youth sides.

U13s going down 5-3 in a closely fought game and
U14s won 3-2 in a good game at the hood. Well done to all sides. And Thank you !!!

Youth Results – The Youth section has started its season aswell at Merton this weekend with a mixed bag of results.

The U10s starting the season strong with a win, beating Barnes Eagles Colts 6 – 1.

U13s, with a few new players, went down 4-1.

U14s in a close battle at the hood, losing 6-5.

Well done to all teams.

Congratulations to the U10s who reached the semi final of their tournament. Well done from all at the club. With 1 week to go, the youth held their club day. With training followed by pizza in the clubhouse

🐗🐗 MFC results from 30/4/22🐗🐗Headlines: The 2s are league champions!!!!! They won away to their title rivals in a must win game to take the title to go alongside their promotion. Congratulations to James and all the players who have contributed this season to this fantastic achievement.In other news, the 3s survival fight cotinues with their rivals dropping points. The 3s will stay up unless Bromleians beat Civil Service next weekend. Martin Quinlan scored a wonder goal as part of the 6s last game of the season.1s: No fixture. The 1s have completed their season and finished 10th in the league.2s: Won 3-2 away to Actonians in the league. The goals were scored by Luke Belto (2) and Jamie Archbold, with a hat trick of assists from Glenn Pitman. No MOTM was awarded and DOTD was Conor Murphy. The 2s have completed their season and finished 1st in the league.3s: No fixture. The 3s have completed their season and are 8th in the league but their league position is not yet finalised with other teams having outstanding fixtures.5s: No fixture. The 5s have completed their season and finished are 6th in the league.6s: Drew 2-2 away to South Bank in the league. The goals were scored by Martin Quinlan and Anwar Madkour, with assists provided by Mustard and Fitz. MOTM was Mustard and DOTD was Andy Bitmead.
