The 3s got off to a great start with Nicko Taylor-Hutton causing problems with his pace from the off – the same man scored in the second minute, and we seemed to be cruising.

Then two bad mistakes led to us going 2-1 down before Ryan Stevens had to come off just before half-time because he was feeling unwell – a big loss, with Tom Rowe coming on to replace him.

As if that was not bad enough (Ryan going off, not Tom coming on), captain Shaun McCullough, playing so well and skippering the side like a true leader, had to come off injured (fractured foot). His replacement, Leon, and the introduction of Dan for Toby, upped our tempo as both got stuck straight in. We were all over them – basically camping in there half, but the Weirside ‘keeper pulled off some incredible saves, not to mention us hitting the woodwork on several occasions. Just one of those days when we didn’t seem to have any luck. We need to turn things around asap..
